Over the years I have played with scripting languages, database development and Mac OS hacking. Usually the motivation was that I needed something to happen, that I couldnʼt find elsewhere. So, after learning Esperanto I hacked my Mac 512 to enable me to type the characters that were missing. Twenty years later, Mac OS X brought unicode support and I was finally able to create keyboard layouts that would work on every Mac.
